I always enjoy a walk in a pine forest, the soft spongy underfoot resilience of a pine needle carpet, the sunlight flashing through the waving boughs of the trees, green all year around. Note the long shadows at midday - fall has truly arrived.

The sounds of birds and bees and bugs and wind and other creatures provide the background music.

Little splashes of sunlight here and there dapple the 2.5 mile trail that winds through the 120-acre preserve. Another of the many natural delights in the town of Plymouth.
