Out and About, White Horse Beach, Manomet, Plymouth, Massachusetts, USA
It was a beautiful early summer day at low tide, perfect for a walk along White Horse Beach.
Flag rock is still covered in gull guano, soon to be repainted with the American Flag in advance of Independence Day.
And over at nearby Bartlett Pond, the green of summer has deepened, the chorus of frogs is deafening, and the flowers are starting to bloom - ah, another spectacular New England summer is underway.
