The "rhodys" continue to explode in color along my walking route.
Although the water is still cold (low 50's F), the sun, sand, and air temperature make it feel like a summer day in July for New Englanders.
I enjoy seeing the little dogs at the beach - running free of the leash - their stubby little legs churning fast, propelling them forward into a feast of beach scents - happy in the moment.
The days are longer, warmer, and brighter as the calendar marches towards the summer solstice.
A deserted basketball court in a yard - I imagine the kids who once played here have long since grown up and gone.
Note: all images made with my cellphone.
