The Barn Show Music Series recently began its summer program on this beautiful spring evening in Manomet at the Holmes Farm on the Manomet Center for Conservation Sciences property just off Manomet Point Road. The series is co-presented by Hayley Sabella, Brewster Productions, and Holmes Farm and the Edible Yard. There are five performances over the summer season held in beautiful outdoors Manomet. (Here's their website: http://barnshowmanomet.com/).
Some folks just bring a picnic snack or eat from the food truck on site - others bring the whole kitchen and make themselves at home.
The kids can romp and play and scamper about relatively safely.
The musicians can play live music outdoors under the setting sun and rising moon.
As darkness falls, the music soars.
Summer in New England is hard to beat. Since it's short, we try to pack a lot of livin' into it.
