This is Part 2 of a two part post. Part 1 is at this link. Our near perfect day at the Eiffel Tower draws to a close as the sun drops to the horizon.
The iron structure takes on the golden tones of the sunset.
The moon and a jet contrail add some additional interest to this image.
As the blue hour progresses, the tower's own lights are illuminated in this view from across the Seine River.
Eiffel Tower key rings - a bargain - five for only one Euro - the hawkers are everywhere selling them. These belonged to a fellow tourist who staged them for this image.
Every hour on the hour they turn on twinkle lights for about 5 minutes.
Wow - what an incredible place and experience! Vive la France!
