The statue of great Native American leader Massasoit stands watch over Plymouth Rock and Harbor. The survival of the Pilgrims at the original Plymouth colony in 1620 is attributed to his support.
This panorama is on the hill near the Massasoit statue. Panoramas sometimes create the coolest aberrations as a result of the camera movement and subject movement. In this case, the red car at right is stretched - then, seconds later, the same car passes the Plymouth Rock memorial and multiple wheel images are seen. (Click on the image to view in full width).
This could either be windblown snow drifts or sand dunes in a desert.
Priscilla Beach Theatre is partially clad in snow - with clouds moving in for the next storm.
All is not cold and snow - inside a warm house, this amaryllis is in full bloom - spring is coming -someday!
