In downtown Plymouth, the town wharf is mostly quiet, the big boats gone to somewhere else.
The slow season is upon us.
The Mayflower replica at it's home berth hosting a final round of tourists. It left Plymouth for Connecticut a few days after this photo for some winter maintenance at Mystic seaport. The buoys in the harbor at right are almost completely vacated of the small pleasure boats already hauled out for the coming winter. And in town, the free car parking season has begun - the parking meters are deactivated and shrouded from December through March.
At dawn, many local small ponds are frozen after the below freezing nights.
