
The Beaver Dam Conservation Area is an almost 800-acre preserve adjacent to Little Island Pond. Trails crisscross the pine/oak forest. The only drawback is the parking area on the shoulder of Beaver Dam Road can only hold two or three cars.

I like discreet trail markers without ambiguity .......

...........but in this case, Shadowman was clearly confused which arrow to follow.
One of my old haunts. Happy to see it being protected!
