A Summer's Day, Bartlett Pond, White Horse Beach, Manomet, Plymouth, Massachusetts, USA
I always facetiously say that we only get about ten perfect summer days here in New England. This was definitely one of them.....
Gardens are busting out all over.....
.....from the humble Daisy.....
.....to the slightly more sophisticated Black-eyed Susans.
Now, if I could just capture an image of the Robin that enjoys a regular and vigorous bath here......
.......I tried to tempt him with a love bug, but he didn't fall for it.
Meanwhile, over at the beach, the littlest one sadly doesn't get his own bogie board....
...but White Horse Beach isn't exactly a surf mecca anyway.....
...more like a setting for a summer romance on kayaks. Life is especially good on one of those ten days.
