If/when I walk close to the pond, a Canada Goose will often take an interest - he/she's thinking that maybe I'm bringing free food.
The others come paddling over when they see the first one approach me.
Mom and dad bring the kids along.
And all the others soon arrive, following the initial group like lemmings.
But since I don't feed them people food, after a few minutes, off they go to find a spot to spend the night.
