Turns out that the two cherry trees blossoming at right are the most popular trees in the Public Garden on this visit.

This view is in the Public Garden recently. Note the lagoon was still bone dry after having been intentionally drained recently by park officials.
Spring flowers.
Cherry trees budding. Shorts and t-shirts return on this particularly warmish day. (It turned cold again the next day).
This image, treated for an old-timey look, is in the Public Garden. The bike leaning against the tree, people picnicking on a blanket, others sitting on the benches - this could have been on any spring day in the past 100+ years (except bare shoulders and legs would have been frowned upon).
Girl in a white dress. Thanks again, Boston, always my pleasure to visit and wander.
It is magnolia blossom season on Commonwealth Avenue in Boston's Back Bay neighborhood.
Lots of people strolling, making pictures, and enjoying this annual show of nature (on April 10th).
It was intermittently cloudy and sunny which made for variable lighting conditions.
Magnolias weren't the only variety in full bloom.
But magnolias were the most beautiful. What a day in Boston!
Wandering the Back Bay neighborhood streets treated me to these springtime views (on 4/3).
Most of the magnolias are beginning to blossom.
Hopefully, my next weekend visit will capture the peak blossom explosion.
A beautiful spring day on the Common - the cherry trees are gaining more color (this was on 4/3)!
The grass is greener on each visit.
More and more folks are out and about.
And sitting on a park bench in the warming sun is always a winner. (This is at the Leventhal Park at Post Office Square).
Following are a few black and white treatments that I enjoy from the same day/visit.
Heading home after shopping.
Face down in a device.
The best for last - a long and purposeful stride - my favorite of the day.
Ah Boston, you seldom disappoint.
