It is always a pleasant surprise when the sun comes out again after consecutive days of darkness and cold and storms.
It wasn't a big snowfall - maybe 4 inches or so - but it sure was pretty.
If the snow has the right consistency and the wind is light, it can stack up on even the smallest twig.
Let the shoveling wait, I'd rather just sit in the warming sunshine and listen to the woodpeckers.
