The Spire Center for Performing Arts in downtown Plymouth, "America's Hometown," recently brought the multi-talented "Krisanthi" to their stage for a wonderful evening of mostly Carole King, the Carpenters, and Carly Simon music.
"The Greater Plymouth Performing Arts Center, Inc. (GPPAC) is a nonprofit organization founded in 2010 and dedicated to performing arts and educational programs which support the vibrant arts community in the greater South Shore region. The organization founded The Spire, a venue to serve as a mecca for the arts and showcasing music, theatre and dance performances as well as education that supports the performing arts." Krisanthi’s most recent CD, "Krisanthi sings Carole, Carly and Karen" is a great mix of retro soft rock favorites that formed the foundation of the evening performance. These images were captured from the balcony.
Most of the very happy crowd knew all the words to all the songs and sang along joyfully.
Come out and support the performing arts in our community. The Spire offers year-around live entertainment. They provide tremendous acoustics, sightlines, and an architecturally beautiful interior. The 225-seat performance hall provides patrons an exceptional performing arts experience.
