A Few Favorite Pictures from "Dirty Rotten Scoundrels," Priscilla Beach Theatre, Priscilla Beach, Manomet, Plymouth, Massachusetts, USA
Since the performing arts seasons are all delayed this year due to the pandemic, I thought it would be fun to go through my thousands of images and pick just a few from each production and re-publish them. It was difficult to narrow down the choice to just a few - I picked ones that spoke to me personally - they may or may not be representative of the show or the lead roles - they are just images that warm my heart and bring back fond memories of the production - I am first and foremost, a fan of these performances, my role as a photographer is a distant second.
I hope you enjoy them, too.
As performed at Priscilla Beach Theatre in August 2019. Click on that date to see the original posts. Produced by Bob and Sandy Malone, Directed by Ron Fassler, Production Manager Joshua Patino, Music Director Chris Ricci.

Out and About, Boston, Massachusetts, USA
It was another beautiful spring day to wander about downtown Boston and get in my 10,000+ steps. It was still eerily quiet and mostly devoid of people out and about. This is a view of the USS Constitution where it lives in Charlestown.
Ditto.
Walking to Charlestown, the Zakim bridge is visible standing tall against the cloud-streaked sky.
This marina is full and ready for another sailing/boating season.
North End favorites Modern Pastry and Mike's Pastry were both doing a brisk walk-in/carryout business.
A copper-clad brick building in the North End neighborhood.
Normally, this part of the Rose Kennedy Greenway would be crowded with folks. Not so today.
An office building, like so many, stands quiet without any business activity. Hopefully, that will change in the coming weeks as folks return to work to begin a new normal.
This office building was in mid-renovation when the pandemic hit.
Ever popular reflections along Congress Street.
An urban park at Post Office Square is usually full of folks out enjoying the fine weather - not so today.

Out and About, Downtown, Plymouth, Massachusetts, USA
Located above, inland of, and overlooking downtown Plymouth, the 165-foot high Burial Hill is a cemetery dating back to the late 1600's where some of the original Pilgrims and their descendants are buried.......
........It is a quiet and peaceful space in which to enjoy the unfolding of another springtime.......
......Below it, on the main street in downtown Plymouth, a block from the harbor, the Spire Center for Performing Arts stands awaiting a return to its schedule of entertainment.
The Mayflower House and Museum in downtown stands brightly in the spring sunshine. The facility is operated today by descendants of the Mayflower Pilgrims. Another beautiful day in "America's Hometown."

Cape Cod Canal, Bourne, Massachusetts, USA
The Cape Cod Canal was constructed in the early 20th century and connects Cape Cod Bay and Buzzards Bay. On both sides of the canal, a 7-mile paved service road provides opportunity for walking, jogging, and bicycling and folks daily take advantage of the beautiful and interesting location.
Boats large and small pass through the canal.
I found this view interesting. The wind is strong blowing right to left, the vessel is moving fast left to right, yet, the flag is lightly waving as if the breeze is left to right. Go figure.
Fishing along the banks is also a popular activity.
Me, I enjoy a nice 2.5-mile out and back (10,000 step) walk along the paved path.

At the Beaches, Manomet, Plymouth, Massachusetts, USA
A very low tide at White Horse Beach, Priscilla Beach is in the distance.
Likewise.
Likewise. Water temp has risen to about 50 degrees F. Not quite swimmable.
More White Horse Beach in panorama style.
A mile or so away from White Horse Beach, south of Manomet Point and Stage Point, this view is of the Manomet beaches later in the day as the tide comes in. The land mass of Cape Cod is faintly visible at left on the horizon.
Sure is pretty here in southeastern Massachusetts..........

Out and About, Public Garden, Boston, Massachusetts, USA
My outdoor exercise on this day was in Boston at the Public Garden. I fully embraced social distancing and wore a face mask at all times. Most of the people I encountered were also of the same mind. The Massachusetts State Public Health Advisory issued on 3/24/20 says, in part, "....You can still go outside to get fresh air, but make sure you practice social distancing and avoid touching surfaces frequently touched by others....."
I was careful to maintain compliance at all times and also wore a mask even though outside.
The Public Garden (founded in 1837), together with the adjacent Boston Common (built in 1634), comprise nature's centerpiece of downtown Boston. The garden hosts a wonder of plant growth throughout the planting and growing seasons.
Normally, the dock in this image would be full of swan boats and hordes of people waiting to ride.
Tulips were today's main attraction.
There were a few folks out and about on this weekend morning. Mostly, dog-walkers, joggers, and regular walkers. It was particularly cold and windy for this time of year. I was wearing my normal winter regalia - big coat, hat, gloves, scarf.
This bridge is normally full of pedestrians and musicians and tourists.
Today, not so much.
The adjacent Commonwealth Avenue Mall was quiet.
Even the Boston Common had very few folks out and about.
10,000 steps later I headed home, refreshed, invigorated, and happy to be alive another day.
