Late in the day, an afternoon summer storm passes by Bartlett Pond.
The bees are undeterred and continue to enjoy the blue thistle.
The storm passes but it is late and the sun is low, side-lighting the clouds.........
...until all that remains is a pink glow.
A great way to mark the middle of summer in New England!
