Lunch at this sidewalk table at Taberna Manjarex was, what else when in Seville, tapas! Espinaca con garbonzos, parrillada de verduras, berenjena con salmorejo, pan y agua. (Spinach with chickpeas, grilled vegetables, eggplant with tomatoe puree, bread and water - total tab 12.50 Euro/ $13.50 USD).

They also have a full dining room inside but most were enjoying the outside seating. Great food and good value.

Immediately adjacent was a nice arched corridor. Great light, shadows, and shapes.

Random street photography is most always about the timing.

Walking further into the Arenal residential neighborhood, it was very quiet with no cars and few people during the midday.

Throughout Seville, this is the street signage system. Look up at almost every corner and you will see the street names in large ceramic tiles attached to the buildings. A very classy and authentic look and no ugly poles with street signs cluttering up the views.

Over at the bullring, closed right now, a woman rests on the stoop.

A street scene in Arenal. Bicycles, bicycles, everywhere bicycles. And lots of motos, too.

In Centro, these arches caught my eye - each one, papa bear, momma bear, and baby bear-sized.

A typcial bar/restaurant in Centro. The world famous Iberico ham (Jamón ibérico, a type of cured ham produced in Spain), almost always hangs from the ceiling waiting to be served to patrons. It is not refrigerated.

And then, around the next corner, another red scooter appears, taunting me, calling out to me, teasing me.....they know I lust for them......never a respite in this town.

We wander to Triana at dusk under an overcast, drizzly sky.

We pop into another tapas bar for a snack......yes, more hanging hams overhead. There should be a good joke there but, I can't seem to find it........

.....and afterwards, we head home through a light rain, the streets glistening in the wet and darkness, now empty of diners.
Vespas? Or Spanish made? Love the hat Amy.
