Plymouth's very own downtown venue, Spire Center for Performing Arts, holds Open Mic Nights weekly on Tuesdays and Jazz/Blues Jam Nights on alternate Wednesdays. I have noticed an increase in interest and attendance over the past few months. The quality of performers is mighty impressive. These random images are from the past few weeks.
It's a friendly, informal, engaging, interactive, and respectful environment managed efficiently by Spire staff and volunteers.
Come on out and support live performers in our hometown - or perform yourself! Sign-ups begin at 6pm, first-come first-served, show starts at 7pm. $5 donation encouraged (Spire is a non-profit and needs our support), bar open throughout (beer, wine, water, soda). More info at this link.
