An intense brief thunderstorm had just passed by leaving behind a freshly washed local world. Yes, there is a faint remnant of a rainbow in the distance.

Even the new tinman guarding the garden is already rusting from all the rain.

The rhododendrons are in bloom, including the rare rubber ducky flower.

Crisp, clear afternoon light and a reflected cloud in the still pond water.

The swan family paddles over hoping for a handout.

There were four cygnets a few days ago, now down to three.

I always wonder how the cygnets get enough food since their necks aren't long enough to reach the bottom growth.
