Clouds on the Pond, Bartlett Pond, White Horse Beach, Manomet, Plymouth, Massachusetts, USA

The garden may be green from hand-watering but, the grass is turning more brown with each passing day. Southeastern Massachusetts is way below normal rainfall amounts for the year. Plymouth may have more than 350 ponds but, not much water has fallen from the sky. We are officially in a moderate drought now and neighboring areas to the north and west around Boston are in a severe to extreme drought.  (Classifications by the United States Drought Monitor on 8/16/16).

I liked this small patch of calm water by the dock which made for a great cloud refection.
