Plymouth Harbor, Plymouth, Massachusetts, USA
Walking along Plymouth Harbor's promenade this year features an unusual skyline - multiple cranes out on the docks.
All the old pilings, piers, and docks are being removed and replaced.
In the distance, a crane lifts an old piling out of the water for disposal.
A worker attaches a chain to the next piling for lifting.
Nearby, other workers prepare the coffer dam that will enable repair and rebuilding of the public boat ramp.
Notwithstanding the ongoing construction projects, commerce continues. These two gray crates contain a catch of lobsters. They are being off-loaded, weighed dockside, loaded into a van, and transported to a Boston area restaurant to be served to patrons for tonight's dinner.
