Out and About in Spring, Manomet, Plymouth, Massachusetts, USA

I don't get out of the house for sunrises much but, a kindly neighbor and blog reader does and sent me these beautiful images to use. The promontory is Stage Point in Manomet.

Same.

Later in the day, a nice whitewater comma against a jetty along the Manomet beach.

And inland at the pond, the world slowly gets greener each day.

Life is bursting out everywhere - like this tiny toad who makes an unbelievably loud sound for his stature. Maybe a touch of Napoleon complex?

A squirrel enjoys a snack while sitting in a dry birdbath. I get a kick out of watching them eat something shaped like this - they rotate it in their little hands nibbling along the edge until it is gone.

The elusive wood duck, an infrequent guest on the pond, cruises by in the distance. (Yes, a poor image through double-paned glass with a point and shoot zoom but, you get the idea).

The walkers are out in force on a sunny, brisk day in downtown Plymouth's Brewster Gardens.

Blooms in Brewster Gardens.

Also in the Gardens.

And back on the pond, a winter fallen tree makes a great mirror image in the still surface.
