On May 31st, Priscilla Beach Theatre (PBT) Owners, Guardians, and Producers, Bob and Sandy Malone, will open an eight performance run on the iconic Barn Stage with a production of "Heathers - the Musical." Rehearsals are underway now and the director for this production is Rachel Bertone.
"NOT INTENDED FOR CHILDREN : Heathers The Musical is the darkly delicious story of Veronica Sawyer, a brainy, beautiful teenage misfit who hustles her way into the most powerful and ruthless clique at Westerberg High: the Heathers. But before she can get comfortable atop the high school food chain, Veronica falls in love with the dangerously sexy new kid J.D. When Heather Chandler, the Almighty, kicks her out of the group, Veronica decides to bite the bullet and apologize to Heather but J.D. has another plan. NOT INTENDED FOR CHILDREN" (Source: PBT).

The PBT Barn Stage, a 240-seat venue, is in its 82nd season and is cited as the oldest summer stock barn theatre still operating in America. The original barn was built in 1875. The current owners, Bob and Sandy Malone, completed a modernization and renovation effort in 2014-15 and also installed new seats and new state-of-the-art sound and lighting systems at that time.
