A Neighborhood Walk, Manomet, Plymouth, Massachusetts, USA

I don't really think of myself as a particularly creative photographer. More a recorder/observer type.

The value of photography to me is that it focuses my attention on the visual world. Like seeing these blooming rhododendron bushes along the road as I walk through the neighborhood.

It helps me to pause and look and appreciate moments and places that might otherwise be overlooked.

Like this view of the sky and arc of Cape Cod Bay at Manomet Beach - just plain lovely on a warm and sunny spring day.
