On/Near My Street - Lucca, Tuscany, Italy
We live in a rented apartment on Piazza Santa Maria Forisportam with almost all the comforts of home. The street runs the entire east west distance through town although it changes names from Via Elisa, to Via San Croce, to Via Roma, to Via San Paulino over it's amost one mile distance. The solitary Romanesque pillar is a good landmark. It served in the past as the end of the Palio run during festivities until the 1700's. Now it just stands there looking rather random but cool.
Bikes and arches go together like sunshine and Lucca - always.
A businessman heading home after a long workday.
