Bike Path, Cape Cod Canal, Bourne, Sagamore, Massachusetts, USA
I haven't been to the canal in many months. It is a great location for walking or cycling. Although it was chilly and breezy, the late afternoon sun made for nice images.
The construction is done on the Sagamore Bridge so no more tarps, equipment, and associated noise. The bike trail is almost empty today.......
...except for this one lone cyclist approaching.
The Bridge and the Path. Out experiencing life…both takes you away from home and leads you back again. :)
ReplyDeleteOr looking at it another way; the bridge, bridges the gap between the ‘corpus callosum’, connecting both sides, (left brain hemisphere –right brain hemisphere) making way for both sides to communicate. Traveling on the he path, straight and narrow, one should in life always have a path that is so clean, so clear of the debris that life seems to throw at us.
A few days back; it was great to see the ornithologists who is certainly grown into being his own man…but is a fine example of what it looks like when one shows so beautifully the resemblance of both parents. I think he has your MANnerisms and Amy’s MIND-nerisms, (assessor & deep thinker.)
Anyhoo….glad you and Amy are back home safe and sound. Yeaaa!!!
Oh yes, ask Amy if next year “we” can go to Ireland…as I like the ‘mind traveling/trips’ the two of you take me on.
Sandra On The Southern California EQ Fault Line. :(
Thanks for your thoughtful comments! Ireland, eh? A beautiful place but, probably not so good for a January-February destination. We will see what happens........
