Barn Show, Manomet, Plymouth, Massachusetts, USA

The Barn Show Music Series recently finished its second summer season of live music programs on this beautiful summer evening in Manomet at the Holmes Farm on the Manomet Center for Conservation Sciences property just off Manomet Point Road.  (Whew - was that a great run-on sentence or what?) The series is co-presented by Hayley Sabella, Brewster Productions, and Holmes Farm and the Edible Yard. There were five performances over the summer season held in beautiful outdoors Manomet, a village of Plymouth.

It is a low-key and friendly environment for local folks to gather outdoors and enjoy live music under the stars.

Opening act David Tanklefsky began the evening as sunset approached.

Beach chairs, blankets, and sweaters are standard gear.

Top quality professional sound support is provided by Brewster Productions.

The second act was The Suitcase Junket, a one-man band with a unique stage presence and instrumentation.

It was another great show and evening of live music under the stars in Manomet! I look forward to next summer with the hope that the Barn Show Music Series will return for a third season!
