Brewster Gardens, Plymouth, Massachusetts, USA

Just inland from the famous Plymouth Rock is Brewster Gardens. The gardens flank the Town Brook as it flows from Billington Sea, past the Jenny Grist Mill, through town, and empties into the harbor near the Rock. The houses in the distance line Leyden Street as it heads into downtown. Leyden Street, although known by other names throughout its history, is reputed to be the oldest continuously inhabited street in the original colonies of the United States.

I like to experiment with hand held photos in the dark with my point-and-shoot just to see what comes out.

Sometimes, a good result occurs. I especially like this shadowy figure in the lower right corner. I must have taken at least a dozen images to get just the right amount of blur and visibility in the random pedestrian passersby.
