This walk near the bluff in Manomet occurred between storms - Hurricane Sandy and the Nor'easter a week later. This maple tree is one of the last ones to turn colors this season. I expect the coming wind, gusting to 50 mph, will blow all the leaves off.

Not sure why this clematis is in full bloom in November. I thought they were summer varieties. I bet it was surprised by the snow flurries this morning - the first of the season.
