Out and About, Boston, Massachusetts, USA

It was one of those days when the tulips in Boston's Public Garden were exploding in color......

.....and recent college graduates in robes and mortarboards were wandering for pictures with their respective families.

The pedal-powered swan boats had lines of tourists waiting to ride around the lagoon in the Public Garden.

The pedestrian walkways in the Public Garden were thronged with people out and about.

Did I mention there were tulips everywhere?

The George Washington statue in the Public Garden.

Walkers and snackers on the Boston Common.

An iconic view of the Hood milk bottle adjacent to Fort Point Channel and the Children's Museum.

At the end of my 14,000-step wandering in Boston - including a vegan Indian lunch in the Seaport District, it's time to catch the train from South Station for the relaxing ride back to Kingston and then the short drive home. I am liking this train routine as my new preferred method to visit the great city of Boston - especially since I was side-swiped by a high speed hit-and-run auto driver on the Southeast Expressway a few weeks back, narrowly averting disaster.
