Out and About, Manomet, Plymouth, Massachusetts, USA

I enjoy sharing a space with a bird of prey. I don't know when he will next appear, or where, but he (or she or offspring) comes back year after year, plucking meals that scurry around oblivious to the talons about to descend from above.

The first spring daffodils appear.

This tree barely hangs on at the water's edge with roots reaching back into the bank for stability and nourishment.

Ever so slowly, boats are appearing in their slips as winter gives way to spring.

Some are still waiting to launch after their winter on dry land.

Burial Hill in downtown Plymouth - some of the original members of the Plymouth Colony are buried here. The cemetery has been in use since 1680.
