Out and About, Boston, Massachusetts, USA

It may be spring on the calendar but, not quite yet on the Boston Common.

A general lack of hats, scarves, and gloves is a good indicator that winter is mostly over.

Locals play a game of flag football on the Common with the steepled Park Street Church (founded in 1804) and the very tall Millennium Tower (opened in 2016) in the background.

Pigeons and people out and about.

This Boston Common walkway leads to million dollar residential properties along adjacent Beacon Street.

The golden dome of the Massachusetts State House on Beacon Street.

Strolling the pedestrian bridge in the Public Garden. No water in the lagoon yet.

Built in the 1880's, the Church of the Advent is in the flat section of the mostly hilly Beacon Hill neighborhood. I had lunch nearby on Charles Street at a bustling cafe - lots of 20-somethings, few seniors.
