Out and About - Manomet, Plymouth, Massachusetts, USA

This little fawn is getting bigger all the time and the spots are starting to fade.

I don't often see this Great Blue Heron with open bill unless he's grabbing a frog snack.

I think this is a technique to reduce reflection on the water surface to see the frogs underneath.

About 100 feet off screen to the left of one of my favorite trees is the ocean.

A late summer day at the beach.

The days are noticeably shorter and cooler - another New England sunny summer of lounging on a warm beach coming to an end.

Speaking of sunny summer, this fake one is in my home and is in bloom every day of the year.

At the Tidmarsh Audubon Sanctuary in Manomet, the hint of fall colors has begun.

Also at Tidmarsh, the explosion of goldenrod marks the beginning of fall.

And when Priscilla Beach Theatre is dark, I find attending live musical performances at the Spire Center for Performing Arts in downtown Plymouth is always a great alternate activity.
