Spring - Out and About, Plymouth, Massachusetts, USA

An outgoing tide at White Horse Beach.

Greening fields in Chiltonville.

A many-windowed house along the Cape Cod Canal.

Part of the arch of one of two similar bridges over the canal that connect the mainland with the Cape Cod peninsula. The two bridges were opened in 1935 and provide the only auto access to the Cape.

At my local pond, this red-shouldered hawk has become a regular looking for his lunch and dinner. This year's crop of new frogs is providing exactly what the hawk is looking for.

As the daylight fades, the full moon rises, and one of the turkeys assumes his nightly roost high in an oak tree.
