"Life Could Be A Dream," Final Tech/Dress Rehearsals, Part 1 of 2, Priscilla Beach Theatre, Priscilla Beach, Manomet, Plymouth, Massachusetts, USA

The performing cast of Priscilla Beach Theatre's (PBT) season opener of "Life Could Be a Dream," starred Joe Hanson, Alex Beard, Jessica Golden, Tom Fetner, and Billy Swenson.  The musicians providing the live accompaniment are Christopher Ricci, Michael Dobiel, Amanda Holland, and Isaac Lit.

And if the standing ovation from the sold out crowd on opening night is a good indication, Owners, Guardians, and Producers Bob and Sandy Malone have another hit performance on the Barn Stage to start off the 2019 performance season.

"Life Could Be A Dream"  is a rousing musical and crowd pleasing delight. "Meet Denny and the Dreamers! Hoping to make it in the big time by entering the Big Whopper Radio contest. Including hits from the 1960's : Fools Fall in Love, Tears on My Pillow, Runaround Sue, Earth Angel, Stay, Unchained Melody, Lonely Teardrops and The Glory of Love." (Source: PBT)

The following images were captured live during a dress rehearsal and are in order of occurrence in the show. Many images are similar since an individual performer may look better in one image than the other and some performers will use these images to share with family, friends, and/or, to build their resumes. Cast members hail from many parts of the country and bring their extraordinary talents to this venerable theatre, some as first-timers, and some have performed here before.

Note: Many of these theatre images, when viewed on a small screen cellphone, may present over-saturated colors. More normal views can be achieved when viewing on a larger laptop or desktop screen.

This final image (which was posed) includes the cast, director, choreographer, and stage manager after the final dress/tech rehearsal. If that's not the look of "we're confident and ready to go," then I don't know what is!

The Barn Stage, a 240-seat venue, is in its 82nd season and is cited as the oldest summer stock barn theatre still operating in America. The original barn was built in 1875. The current owners, Bob and Sandy Malone, completed a modernization and renovation effort in 2014-15 and also installed new seats and new state-of-the-art sound and lighting systems at that time.
