Fall brings a stiff breeze and a chill in the air to White Horse Beach. Too cold to go in the water (except for dogs), the beach becomes the preferred place for a beautiful walk along the lapping surf.
Recent storms have scoured much of the sand from the edge of the dunes. Hopefully, the coming winter storms will push it back in.
And nearby inland, splashes of color surround this local freshwater pond.
