I hadn't been bowling for many years so imagine my surprise at visiting a modern state-of-the-art bowling alley for a trip down memory lane (no pun intended).
The weight of the ball was emblazoned in large font on each ball making it easier to find "yours."
Big screen displays showed music videos and football games.
Gone are the plastic chairs arranged in a semi-circle around the scorer's table. Instead, couches and chairs and tables replace that memory. Best of all, scoring is done automatically! And yes, I did break 100 - but not by much. A good time was had by all - an excellent example of an industry changing with the times and technology.
