Signs of Summer, Plymouth, Massachusetts, USA

In downtown Plymouth, a sign of summer includes pristine hot rods freed from garages for their seasonal promenade.

ln White Horse Beach, lots of people hanging out looking to see and be seen.

In Manomet, flowers explode in bloom and frame this traditional New England style home with a wraparound porch.

At Bartlett Pond, bee balm, the delight of hummingbirds, starts to appear.

On Bartlett Pond, the goslings are almost as big as mom and dad goose.

At White Horse Beach, Cinderella has apparently lost her slipper.

In Manomet, sporty attire and smiles are common.

On Bartlett Pond, the sun sets late and it's not dark until after 9pm. (I love the hatch-mark shadow from the window screen silhouetted on the petals).

.....and everywhere, "Old Glory," snaps brightly in the summer breeze. It is good to be alive in Plymouth, "America's Hometown," in the summer.
