Beaver Dam Conservation Area, Pinehills, Plymouth, Massachusetts, USA
The town of Plymouth supports eight separate conservation areas in addition to many formally designated parks open to the public. Each conservation area features mostly hiking trails from half a mile to more than three miles in distance. Here's a link to the town's website with maps and other information.
The Beaver Dam Conservation Area features miles of trails through a typical pine and oak forest that borders Little Island Pond. Above, the main trail is at right through the woods while this short boardwalk trail leads to......
....Little Island Pond.
Beaver Dam Conservation Area is another of the many beautiful places in southeast Massachusetts for lovers of the outdoors.
