It's summer in New England!
It's hot and humid and people are at the beaches...... (For this image I added a texture overlay and vignette in post-processing to give it that old-timey look)......
...... in fact, some days it's so hot that all this fella wants to do is sprawl out on the cool stones and lay still for a while.
And at dusk, this returning Great Egret has found a favorite branch to stand on all night long. Ah, summer in New England............
