Independence Day Parade, "America's Hometown," Plymouth, Massachusetts, USA

More than fifty different bands, floats, marching units, politicians, fire trucks, and other participants joined together to parade through downtown Plymouth on the morning of July 4, 2015, to celebrate the 239th anniversary of the United States of America. Thousands of citizens lined the parade route to watch and cheer. My favorite entry, the group from Priscilla Beach Theatre (PBT), is shown above and in the next three images below. Driving PBT's 1937 Chevrolet pick-up truck is co-owner, Bob Malone.

Some of the staff and performers from PBT. But, I have gotten ahead of myself......

.....earlier, traffic was cleared from the main street through town and folks lined the sidewalks waiting for the parade to begin.

And no, that is not a typo - Plymouth has two high schools that each contribute to the single band.
