Paamul, Quintana Roo, Riviera Maya, Mexico

Paamul is a funky little enclave on a small bay south of Playa del Carmen on the Riviera Maya. It includes a small hotel, some cabañas, and lots of RVs that appear permanently stationary under thatch roof palapas.

Here's an example of an RV parked under a palapa.  The outside area becomes the kitchen and living room and the inside areas mostly for sleeping.

A row of one room cabañas (with private bath) that are available for rent.

The hotel pool and a corner of the dining room are at right.

One of the permanent residents.

    1. It sure was a stunning place though it's been a few years since my visit.
