On Bartlett Pond, White Horse Beach, Manomet, Plymouth, Massachusetts, USA

Summer is off to a great start in coastal Massachusetts.  Lots of rain leads to verdant growth and lots of sun leads to happy people.  (Panorama - click on image to view full width).

This path to the pond has been freshly trimmed and is ready to be pooped upon by the geese that scramble up to eat grass.

Rusty the tinman still watches over the garden, scaring away all manner of invaders - except birds, deer, rabbits and anything else that like to eat gardens.

The hydrangeas are in bloom now......

.....as are the dogwoods......

.....and the wild daisies are popping up, too......

....and the pink peonies. All in all, it's a pretty spectacularly beautiful planet we get to live on for a while.......
