Fugu Truck, Boston, Massachusetts, USA

The Fugu Truck is one of the hip, gourmet-style food trucks that can be found on the streets of Boston. It appears in certain neighborhoods on planned days to sell its food.  These mobile restaurants are a far cry from the nasty  hot dog and other junk food vendors of yesteryear.  Boston's food trucks represent a vibrant, dynamic food source for residents and tourists alike.  The City of Boston has a formal licensing and inspection program for these restaurants on wheels - and there are many of them.

The name "fugu" is from the famous Japanese blowfish delicacy requiring great skill to prepare since its internal organs are poisonous.

  1. Our first experience with a food truck was in Vegas with Fuku Burger.
Since then they have become somewhat of a staple in Melbourne. With some great burgers and tacos to be had here.

    Did you get anything?

    1. No, we saw it just after leaving another restaurant. Plus, we wanted to sit down and have a leisurely meal in an indoor environment. Eating standing up up in a chilly breeze was a little bit unappealing.
