Just a short block from Plymouth Rock, the Plymouth Center for the Arts hosted their second annual photo competition and exhibition, The Fine Art of Photography. Nearly 1000 entries were submitted from every state in New England and other states. Approximately 140 artists were accepted into the show. The judges bestowed ten major awards and an additional six awards were offered by special sponsors of the event.

Photography is a wildly popular art form, further evidenced by the interest generated for the opening reception. Many entries and accepted submissions were from members of the Plymouth Digital Photographers Club. The show is open to the public for the month of April at the Plymouth Center for the Arts, 11 North Street in downtown Plymouth.
