Colonial Lake is located in the Harleston Village neighborhood park in the heart of the Charleston peninsula. Next to the lake, Moultrie Playground is a recreational site with tennis, playground, baseball field and greenspace for walking and playing in the grass. Colonial Lake is one of the most popular parks for afternoon strolls with the kids and dogs in tow. Bikers, joggers and walkers frequent the park at all times of the day. This park has a rich history, making it one of Charleston's most interesting storytelling parks. (And yes - the village name is spelled correctly as written in the title).
