"Charlotte's Web," opens August 7th on stage at the Priscilla Beach Theatre (PBT). It is the fourth of five Children's Workshops in the 2015 Summer Stock season. There are four public performances. Here are the two casts for the show at an early rehearsal. Since there are two casts, there are also two directors: Caitlin Donohue and Matt Torrance, both of whom are also in rehearsals as performers in the classic show, "Chicago," which opens on the Barn Stage also on August 7th.

"Charlotte's Web" is the classic children's story of Wilbur the pig with major themes of friendship, teamwork, and commitment.

Priscilla Beach Theatre (PBT) is now in rehearsal to bring the second major adult cast production this summer to its newly restored Barn Stage with the TONY Award winning popular show, "Chicago." 

It's about murder, greed, corruption and set amidst the razzle-dazzle decadence of the 1920s. "Chicago" is the story of Roxie Hart, a housewife and nightclub dancer who murders her on-the-side lover.

It's that time of the summer when the blueberries are starting to ripen on the bushes.

So, off we went to pick some at Louise's cranberry bog. It's a slow process blueberry pickin' - it seems that for every few berries that go in the bucket, an equal number or greater go directly into my mouth!

I tried to enlist the aid of the owner's trusty dog, Wiley, to guard the bucket but,........

.... he didn't like the berries himself and, he did not seem inclined to keep my hand out of the bucket either. Oh well.

And there was a 1960's peace-loving-hippie type along for the berry-pickin', too. Where did you get that shirt?

On this late afternoon summer day, the water still as glass, Amy's Garden is once again, an explosion of beautiful colors.

Earlier in the day under bright sunlight.  And yes, tinman is looking a bit sad this year - too many seasons of rust. Sometimes, I feel like that, too.
