Parks, statues and monuments abound in the downtown area of Washington, DC, the permanent capital of the United States. It is a federal district not a part of any state.

Corona del Mar is a neighborhood of Newport Beach and features dense development, affluence, shops, restaurants, beaches, tidepools, and clifftop views of the Pacific Ocean.


Cape May, New Jersey, USA



A view of Cape May State Park from the top of the lighthouse. At center-right just above the parking lot is the famous Hawk Watch Platform, a gathering site for birders worldwide during fall migration season.


San Clemente, California, USA




A town of uncommon delight in coastal southern California: San Clemente is located halfway between Los Angeles and San Diego and has a quaint downtown, spanish styled whitewashed buildings, and beautiful surf and sun beaches - and don't forget that nearly perfect weather.


Manomet, Massachusetts, USA

















A perfect spring day on Bartlett Pond in Manomet, Massachusetts. Manomet is a seaside village of Plymouth, "America's hometown." It is infamous for its annual bonfires, fireworks, and rowdy youth on White Horse Beach on the evening of July 3rd.

Early evening calm settles over Bartlett Pond on a perfect spring day. Cape Cod Bay is visible on the distant horizon. Seems like a great spot for my retirement location.
